• The best things around Lampeter are the people, the University, which makes Lampeter a multicultural town. Hag's record and video/DVD shop. The Kings head, The brilliant Indian restaurant, which is seriously good. Et Voila! Cafe at the back of Caxtons newsagents, and of course the beautiful countryside which is all around you.
• Robs taxi service and if you get the well built chap he is very sexy and always happy, and not a village idiot
• You won't get murdered here, you can leave your front door open.

• A terry's burger, cos it beats any fast food from the city. Suzi's outside the Pioneer is outstanding as well...

• Women in Llyod thomas are really easy to pull, provided you don't mind sloppy seconds. Graeme Tipple still has really stupid GINGER stripes in his hair and is a prime target for ridicule.

• The sense of unity among the students. It's so small you can't help mixing with different people - Goths with rugby players with Christians with crusties. It gives you a hell of a lot of self-confidence. Lampeter graduates can TALK. Lots.

• 1822 is without a doubt the best thing about Lampeter and the students should count themselves lucky that such a small Uni has such a damned fine magazine.....
• Fresh air, nice-ish countryside, and you can see the stars at night if it's not cloudy - but this is Wales, where clouds tip rain on you at the slightest provocation.
