- My 1st year contained lots of: Pain, fire, sex, solitary confinement, mental torture, vomit, urine, decaying matter, blind staggering, near drowning etc. Drink in the Extension if you like any of these things.
- Extension.
- just laugh at the people that actually think the quarry is cool as they have never been to a proper club in their lives! the pier in Aber does not count as it is not a real club and that goes for anywhere in Carmarthen or surrounding areas too.
- There are two clubs, one's a football club, the other a rugby club. Avoid if you don't want to get punched in the face for having apposable thumbs. These clubs occasionaly have discos, as does the Quarry.
- AVOID the quarry. The best "clubs" will be found in a middle of a field, where some hippy with a set of remarkably efficient speakers will turn up with some friends.
- Well there is the Union extension or even the Quarry if you are drunk enough to
want to go there.
- the union bar has some pumpin' house music most nights. Except when the entertainments officer books a traditional Welsh folk band. Whopee!!
- Lloyd Thomas Halls after the Union has shut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Well there is always the quarry which is a right dive or even the Student Union extension which is a great laugh on the right nights
- Best discos are always at the University - in fact a currently popular, Mod-revival DJ now working around London got his start there -- Andy Lewis is his name and he's worked with Blur among many others. His band - Pimlico - has an album coming out soon. Great things *do* emerge from Lampeter!
- Talk loudly about contemporary 'darnce' in the Ivy Bush and you might receive a club to the head.
