- There are 3 pubs in Lavenham, and none of them will light your fire. However, if you are stuck:
The Angel - terrible beer (I mean the worst!) and it'll be an age before you're served it. Wants to be a restaurant, so doesn't flatter if you're not eating. Full of people who don't know any better.
The Greyhound - Good beer, good service, odd alternation of old regulars and 20 somethings (yes, in Lavenham) per night. Does Fish & Chips one night a week.
The Cock - bar is ok, nothing special, but food is wholesome and plentiful. If you don't want to spend more than £15 on a meal, go here.
