Buskers, Street Entertainers
- the big issue seller outside h&m is well funny
- No not many at all.
- Jack the incredible flyin man!
- Gorgeous girls (only trinty yr 10s)a small amount of fit lads jesus ppl alot of them, protesters and generally ppl and tramps n stuff.
- The guy who was at art school with John Lennon Golf Club. His house in leam Terrace was a fantastic place to be in the 60's. He had all the best music and a great football table. His art was all over the walls and he was a brilliant artist. I rented a room in a flat in that very house! He was my land lord! Name John Hague
- Mad ginger crazy man with collie dog - always drunk, always tinkering around the bottom of the Parade !!
- Mick Lippit. Best looking guy in town. Just wanna lick his whiskery lips every time I see him Hmmmm!
- i'm sorry i know it says that big issue sellers aren't entertainers, but if you are scared of clowns then stay the hell away from the HSBC bank by boots, cuz he's there selling the big issue dressed as afriggin' clown, and seeing me running off almost in tears at the age of twenty three every time i seee him is entertainment in itself!!!!
OverHung are the next big band to come from Leam, and i have their autographs so sod you!!! their drummer Tom is amazingly cool and they have various tracks for you to look out for so i won't even bother to start to list them!!! just keep your eyes peeled!!! i have seen them performing at robbins well before, Cox's yard in Stratford and i do believe they will be playing at Kelly's, leamington spa on thursday 17th February.
watch out for women with clip boards (they're normally in groups) and come from staybrite windows, they will not rest until you give them your details!!!
- The alcoholics in parish church and jephson gardens are fun to talk to.
- the creepy fat guy that stands on the rugby road with either a red indian headress or a policeman's helmet used to live in warwick, council moved him to leamington by a school, great job council people you must be proud!
- weird clown peson no1 likes him but he keeps comin bak - weird ent it?
- the leamington ballon man will give you a ballon half prices if you go and fetch him a coffie from starbucks
- Darren Kelly - local subversive born in old town - still here selling anything he can get his grubby little paws on. Currently the only military surplus dealer in the area and well worth a look too. He tends to get bored easily so don't be afraid when he starts singing. Very partial to fine wine, greasy spoon food and jazz cigarettes. Coming to a pub near you soon. Leave him alone.
- theres a well funny glue sniffer round the back of tesco. piss him off by buying him a pritt stick
- The mad harmonica bloke outside Woolworths. Gluey (Chris Unit) who is a leamington regular nutter. Derick dent head (taps cars as he walks past - ocasionally belows at no-one in particular). Mekon man - does NOT like 5ps.
- Mick Lippet - what a guy! Looks like the ultimate sexually inadequate nerd but he has his uses. Just think - when life is getting you down and all is turning to crap you can look at Mick and think to yourself "at least I'm not him". I guarantee it will make you feel better - even if you've lost all of your limbs and your genitalia in a horrible chainsaw accident. You're still better off than Mick Lippet. Sorted!
- Mark McGuire - local thief and house burglar per se - what a guy! Robs his own family in broad daylight and then hotfoots it to the nearest pub to sell on his ill-gotten gains within the space of half an hour. Can often be seen running down Union Road with an black plastic bin liner (the modern equivalent of a swag bag) being chased by sobbing children pleading for the return of their Playstations and irate fathers eager to lamp the thieving little git to within an inch of his miserable life. Mark can often be found frequenting Leamington's gay bars and local cottaging spots in poorly disguised attempts to spend his illegally acquired gains.
- The girls in Rhubarb are classical. The "alternative" youth of Leamington in its hip retro/skater clothes. You can see them in all the hip places. The woman that always asks for change to go to Birmingham (circa the train station) - and of course the Indian lady with the goatee in Michael's Supermarket on Bath Street.
- ever noticed how they always sit beside cash machines?? or Mc.Donalds
- Talk to the Big Issue guy outside Tesco's...he's so cool.
- There are some completely useless twats out there that people seem willing to give money to for humming down at a guitar. Thank god that half-wit who used to stand outside of Woolworths with a mouth organ, overshort trousers and some sort of puppet has gone.
- None I can think of, unless you count the drunk tramp playing the Harmonica.
- The two guitarists were from Wish. Haven't seen them busking for a while.
- You can always laugh at a passing member of the care in the community fraternity - there's plenty of them.
- Not enough of them. A decent Piper visits occasionally - be kind.
- There are some good buskers who do a few good Radiohead covers
- Two guys who sind Beatles songs outside of Woolworths on a Saturday morning. Should have been signed by a record company years ago.
