• The Only serious choice is Music Junkie. Great for DJ And PA, seems to have hundreds of guitars but I dont care about that. Got my Native S4 from there!
• Music Junkie - The best shop in the East Midlands easy! Loads of guitars, DJ Stuff studio gear and great staff who are always friendly and helpful. Watch the rest disapear as Music Junkie Rocks!

• Sound Control. The only sensible choice. It's huge and they stock everything.
• I never go to Leicester for my music stuff, apart from maybe Sheans or whatever it's called next to the train station. It does have funny opening times though, so I usually go to 'Music And More' in this little town called Oakham - it's quite a way from Leicester though. It has some great guitar accesories in there like picks and straps.

• the guitar workshop! (www.theguitarworkshop.co.uk) in Ibstock near coalville quite a small shop but loads of stock and decent brands!! they also do repairs. i was in there for two hours playing all the guitars and chatting to the friendly staff!
• sheehans are very very cool. some eeejit dropped my fender and trashed the socket. nice man fixed it, put in new socket and charged me nuthin. yep nuthin. what more can you say? kudos to the man.

• Sheehans is the best instrument shop in Leicester, they have a big variety of music aswell. City Music are good for music aswell.
• Intasound on Narborough road, miles away from the clocktower, but if you're pissed you can make it, believe me. Academy of Sound is pretty good too.

• sheeans on london road aint too great if ur looking for electric, but academy of sound is an awsome place for guitars. beautiful instruments align with walls!pretty competative prices too, and some good deals sneeking in there. if u wanna go a little further than the city centre then go down narborough rod ofr intasound. that is a good shop. go upstairs and theres a couple of top notch guys who can hook you up with a nice axe. they also do keyboards n stuff too.

• Try JUST MUSIC, it has an amazing selection of guitars and always has good second hand ones on display. COOL shop, go there, NOW, go on then, ru goin'? Oh, don't go, I haven't anyone else to talk to.
