• tramps, slag 12 year olds who want to get pregnant, prostitutes on york road, kosovans everywhere, pimp daddy-o's from london, stray dogs on the streets that often get mixed up with essex girls.
• I bought Lee Evans house in Leigh 9 years ago and live there still! If anyone is interested in buying it, I'll have a plaque put up!!!!!
• the chalkwell Ladies Drum 'n' Bass League (www.chalkwellladies.co.uk). Fab eccentric duo performing crazy electronica in tweed suits!
• The guy that was in the tabloids for stalking "glamour model" Jordan is often seen playing pool on his own in the Grand. Also seen regularly is the old trampy guy with only 1 tooth.
• many people in leigh, probably including myself, dress and have outrageous haircuts so i suppose counts as street entertainment. Watch out for Ben Dobson tho!
• The best busker i have ever heard is "Daddy long-legs" singing Mr bossman. He used to be outside the halifax on the broadway. He has now moved on to southend high-street.
