• Overall: Understandably vistitors will hate it, I probably would too if I hadnt grown up here. Yes theres drugs, chavs and nothing fun to do but some comments Ive read have really annoyed me. Im 19 and yes was once a chav hanging around parks and streets drinking late at night as I had nothing to do but caused no trouble whatso ever, nor did the people I hung around with. I am now at university, not a young single mum with 3000 kids! You will find where ever you go there is always drugs, chavs and single 16 year old mums! Leighton Buzzard is my home and Im proud!
• If Leighton buzzard is so rich and privileged then why can you not spell basic english?
• Leighton Buzzard is generally a shithole not a nice town most of the kids are on at the very least weed(but fuck it smoke weed everyday).Yes you could go for a walk by the dirty canal if you would like to get mugged. You may of heard the steam train that is in leighton and that might seem nice but it goes through the dirty estates and is a waste of money.
• Leighton Buzzard, may have 'Chavs', 'Druggies' and violent crimes, but so does everywhere else on the planet. Generally it is a nice town, where people know one another. It has a historical background and the book 'The Borrowers' was writen here. You can also take a nice walk along the cannal, and it is not far from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury. London is also less than an hour away.

• 5 minutes from town are some great walks, country pubs, restuarants etc so get out there
• The Anchor Tilsworths a good pub serving good food, pay it a visit.
• Leighton Buzzard is home to some of the most persistent and creative burglars and con-men around. Random group violence is an art form here and is practiced regularly by many of the local populace, usually when they are incapacitated.
• Leavce Leighton Buzzard alone! It's one of the most privaligeds and rich places in the country, and the crime is nothing like as bad as it is in the big cities...and leave the kids alone, we're residents just like you!
• Updates to these - * Comedy king Bob Monkhouse lives nearby. - Bob unfortunately died the other year.. * Home of Liptons, Gossard, Lancer Boss. - All gone now....Gossard still has a shop on Grovebury Road though
• The Tiddenfoot Lakeside park is groovy.

• Leighton Buzzard is charming and a very friendly place to be. Its only when you go looking for the bad things that you see them, and they're not really that bad!
• The 80's pop group Kajagoogoo came from Leighton Buzzard. The Borrowers children's books and film were set in Leighton Buzzard. Comedy king Bob Monkhouse lives nearby. The Barron Knights lived in Leighton Buzzard. The Great Train Robbery happened at Bridego Bridge, just outside Leighton Buzzard. Sand from Leighton Buzzard is exported worldwide!
• Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre.... exists there's also a nature park there. Watch out forf schoolkids forced to run round it. Home of Liptons, Gossard, Lancer Boss.
