- The Con Club has live bands most saturdays, not a bad venue and some pretty good bands, much better than the White Horse.

- played in several pubs here in the eighties and nineties none of the pubs were any good mind you niether were any of the bands i was in.rue d.l.m mainly played at the old times in ipswich as did the s.men both pretty average.
- Leiston High School makes for a great bamd Venue. When we were at school we put on several Gigs for Local bands. Bug the Music dept, coz it's a waste not to use such a great stage & hall for decent events. There must be a local band who'll get off their Butts.
- I had a really good jam in the lounge at the White Horse last time I visited, but it was kinda spontainious and a one-off. Just happened to be a few of us with guitars staying there. This is about the best you can hope for when it comes to gigs in Leiston.
