• the crown is the place to be friday and saturday night.
• Zinc, the new bar in town. Known locally as "The Gay Bar" but seems pretty hetro to me. O.K if you like ice cold beer and Alco-Pops. Busy Friday dead otherwise.
• Leiston has a new watering hole, a bar called Zinc. Its next to the Kebab place, very convienent. It's ok, quite modern inside, nice leather sofa's, big plasma screen. Crap lights in the loos though, its not too nice having a pee and suddenly the lights go out. Only seems busy on a Friday and Saturday night, other nights its just Billy no mates in there. Known locally as The Gay Bar, don't know why, they seem all Hetro to me.
• Engineers is OK always packed on a Friday Night as is Zinc the wine bar kids always hang around outside though and at the kebab next door

• Engines (The Engineers Arms)is best pub in Leiston!
• Black Horse now closed down & boarded up.
• The black horse has a disco on a friday night, if you mind dancing alongside schoolies and drunks.
• Kings Head. Yoxford ,Suffolks only 100% Smokefree Pub/Restaurant is only 6Miles From Leiston For good Home Made food and real ales in a smokefree enviroment
• It might well be the worst pub ever in the world but there is someting about the Black that makes it good. Despite being at uni now I will still go there when I get home just to see everyone again. The strangest thing is seeing people younger than you working behind the bar and thinking "You're not old enough to be in here". It has to be said though that no landlord will ever be as good as Mike and his five aside footie team.
• all the pubs in this cess pit are pony,too much attitude by staff and customers, too many junkies , too much radiation, too much dirt.
• The White Horse is a nice place, if you are a tired old hag. But it is supposedly haunted-so if you are into that naf stuff-check it out. They occasionally have bands-nothign I would listen to though.
• ahhh the great local pups ..there are many..Moleys reccomendation=white horse
• Early 80's Engineers Arms. Before the design was changed and the atmosphere ruined forever.
