I am trying to find any members of the Gibbs family who lived in Leiston around 1974. I was friends with Karen Gibbs who was then about my age of 15 or 16. Her father was John Gibbs who I remember was into shooting. There was also a younger sister called Stephany (Scooby) and a younger brother called David. Any help in locating the family would be much appreciated. No urgency just wondered what happened to them. Reply

Hello. I'm a former resident of Leiston and served in the American Forces I lived on Quakers Way near the Sports Centre. Played in the squash league... and winter 5 a side. I also played scrum half in the Rugby Club 2nd XV, 1987-1992. Looking for Ginger headed Geoff... Richard whose parents own the nursery, and Big Jim Robinson, Peter Orrin, and Mark Patterson. Hi my name is Bob Reynolds. I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters between 1983 and 1987. I used to hang out with a couple of gals from Leiston. We used go to the club on base and go pubbing in Leiston and Aldelburg. I think Barbara married an American and moved to Arizona. I returned to England in 89 and met Shirley at Bentwaters one night in 91/92. We talked about the olde days and a mutual friend Sc ott Kirsch. I would love to know what happened to these gals and what they are up to. I think both gals worked on the base at one time at one time or another...we had mutual friends there as well...Liz Grodzika...Celia...would love to get back in touch. My gran was Lil Doubleday, on one side was a couple eho owned a Red Setter dog on the other side, in amongst the fir trees was my friend Roger Stephans or Stevens. My younger years were very traumatic to say the least but the fond memories I have of us having a laugh remain a bright star in the darkness. I would love to hear from Roger after all this time.
