- Did you also know Kevin Kegan lived in Park Gate while he play for Southampton. The football player who's parents owned the Newsagents in Middles road (which is not there now and the butchers has moved too!) was Nicky Holmes. Some of Mary Peters family live in Locksheath too

Alan Ball, Gordon Strachan and Paul Walsh live round Sarisbury, Harry Redknap is rumoured to live round here too. Lots of pompey players lived in Locksheath during the 80's.
