Skateboarding Spots
- A new (Summer 2006) skate park opened to the side of Locks Heath Shopping Centre.
- Just moved into the area - skated the 4-4.5ft high, 16ft wide concrete mini half pipe in the park off Church Road a few times, good ramp, coping sticks out a bit, but you get used to it! Have'nt seen any bladers, just BMXers and the odd skater (like me!). Have'nt had any bother off anyone, everyone seems friendly enough!
There are 2 8ft rails on the ground about 6inches off the ground, not much room round about to actually make any use of them, better off skating the mini!
- Skateboard area down Abshot road, off huntspond road
- abshot is where the skaters go, and strawberry fields.
- abshot and locksheath shopping centre.
- Shopping centre: Wall with bank built in. Various benches, walls, steps. Lit. Car parks empty after 8pm. Full of posers and Victims.
- Carpet World car park after 7.30pm. PS. TOO MANY BLADERS NOT ENOUGH SKATEBOARDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
