• Cafe Zen is cool nice atmosphere and some art on the walls
• Baristas is the best - great coffee, jacket spuds and paninis
• The white House restaurant , Sawley. FABULOUS FANCY cuisine, excellent varied menu. Will impress your friends, recommend all sea food - esp starters! - 3 courses from as little as £21.95 - you won't come awat hungry!. Plently of car parking to rear.
• Gotta love Cafe Zing! When its open that is. if you are there after 345pm then youve had it! Barista however has a whole different time scale.
• there is a sudden proliferation of continental style cafes, which is slightly surreal, especial as one of them is in what used to be hyper! the mecca of pikey shopping
• The Lock house Tea Rooms at Trent Lock Long Eaton is the place to take that special date or mum out for afternoon cornish cream tea, over 50 different tea's & coffee's,extensive menu,all served in a historic canal setting by the river, Open all year ,Wed - Sun inc
• Can't beat the coffee in Shots,they do a great breakfast aswell!!! it's open allday and is a bar in the evenings!!

• There seems to be more of those each time I visit the High Street! This town is surely becoming a settlement of Tea-totals! (Yeah right!) But there are plenty.

• Oh oh! I know this one! The Rendezvous Cafe! Or the milk bar as me mam calls it!Yes thats the one too get your daily intake of colesterol and lining of the arteries! Lots of lard and dodgy folk. Lovely!
