• Ex blokes that cant leave there ex missus alone to get on with there life cause they are all related reminds me of deep south america (squeal like a pig boy)
• The pubs.
• Chavs. Too many fast food shops. Too many charity shops
• The Chavs who yell insults at you from 20 yards away then run off when you confront them
• first word begins with L and the second with E. any guesses?
• Drunken idiots and fights on Friday and Saturday nights cos of crap late bars. Getting my car smashed up by pi**heads and yoofs. Can't anyone have a drink in LE without having to stab someone or smash stuff up?
• Not a bad thing, apart from the headteacher at Long Eaton Community School. Beware schoolgoers, this man just does not listen.

• Charity shops!! too bloody many.
• lived in long eaton all my life and the place is a dump.what happened to local pride theres more rubbish on the pavement than in the litter bins come on people its not hard to find a bin.
• Well I love it here. I will never leave (because I was cursed by gypsies and told I would explode if I tried to leave) but I guess its kind of like your first job, try it out and you might get seduced, but chances are, you may realise you are capapble of greater things and move on.
• not much to do on sundays its gets boring cos no ones out
• One of the worst things in L/E is litter,Then the dustbins,only emptied once a fortnight,in summer they stink.The old cinema/bingo hall on Derby rd.
• The coppers mates who scare the shit out of you and keep you awake at night which is ok if your`e sleeping with them!!!

• LONG EATON HAS BECOME THE UK'S LARGEST CONGREGATION OF CHARITY SHOPS I KNOW LET'S ALL PAY TO PARK AND SHOP AT ALL THE CHARITY SHOPS WHERE HAS ALL THE BUSINESS GONE FROM LONG EATON WE HAVE NOTHING NO CINEMA NO YOUTH CENTRES NO DECENT AREAS FOR KIDS TO PLAY I REALLY DON'T WANT TO SOUND NEGATIVE BUT CAN SOMEONE SUGGEST THINGS TO BRING LONG EATON BACK FROM THE PAST
• Nothing much changes, same old attitude, same old situation. Its a patriarchy. Not much for girls here, unless u wanna be a shop assistant or an estate agent. We need to be invaded by aliens from another planet.
• The whole place. I lived there 8 years - 8 years too long. The crime, the vandalism, the dog **** on every pavement, the litter, the ignorant unfriendly attitude of the locals. I was burgled twice and had my car stolen. I can name several people who have had the same experience, or even mugged/assaulted.

• the carnival being cancelled this year!!
• walking along the canal when half-cut, trying not to fall in.
• watch out for a sad bloke on a Honda Pan - Eurpoean Motorbike T 6** HBF. Although he thinks he's a bike cop, he's not. He just watched too many episodes of CHiPs at an impressionable age!!
• The public toilet block behind Boots. It stinks.

• charity shops millions of the things, the market is really rubbish just lately, the shops most of them are crap, some of the other pubs (embassy) the minority of the people
• Litter
• Shopping in Long Eaton is just awful, in fact do not even try to do it, go to Beeston, that is better, but Notts and Derby good.
