• Looe is a good base and if you're into battleships, you'll see plenty of them on the horizon, with a good pair of binoculars.Dogs not allowed on the main beach.

• The tourist season, you have much less contact with the locals.
• The summer when the locals are drowned out by the tourists, they can't arive fast enough.
• Picture-postcard Cornish village with nice little winding streets and lots of good pubs and restaurants.

• Walking along the Banjo pier on a windy, grey day and watching the clouds racing over Looe Island. Summer with my mates - visiting our friends who live in Looe, doing plenty of laughing, drinking and living!
