- Fishermans Arms...Tosh on Wednesdays; Shamrock on Fridays.
- The fishermans arms in higher market street has great music on wednesdays and fridays. its a pleasure to work there. Tosh on a wednesday is very rude and very funny. not for kids lol. Fridays is fiddely-dee music night. they play for nowt but beer so it gets better as the evening progresses lol. R
- Bullers Arms is best for music although every Xmas Eve lunchtime the fabulous No Picnic play at the Boscarn!
- The Admiral Boscarn(!), Xmas Eve lunchtime, the wonderful No Picnic! Always makes me feel quite comfortably numb....
- as above has a variety of music (mostly tribute groups and variety acts.
- The Double Decker is no more !
- The Bullers Arms - Buller St - most weekends - a real drinkers pub !
- The Double Decker Pub. Regular live music and a real spit & sawdust venue. COOL.
