- Looe used to have a record shop 'cause I ran it for a guy in Truro who had no common sense. Blame him! He looks like a rotund eel and smells of cheese.
- Oive bin avin a shite!
- Most of the Cornish people you meet in Looe have been there since birth!but
there has been a silent invasion in recent years. I managed to escape but get
caught and returned from time to time.
- The Cheapest Car Park centrally located, and it allows overnight car parking, they also sell, repair and moor boats - The Millpool Boatyard Car Park
- Walkaboutwest. Guided walks in the area, Find out about the local history from stone circles to fishng.E.mail mark@kesmac1.freeserve.co.uk
- Looe is a small picturesque fishing village, well worth a visit. The "Panorama" is one of a number of good hotels, which can offer comfortable friendly accomodation. For more info Email panorama@westlooe.avel.co.uk.
- Looe is really very nice. If you like walking there is a walking path along the coast to Polperro: it is a long walk but it is worth it! When you are in Polperro you can go back by bus or taxi or just walk back if you have the condition. The worst in Looe are the real touristic restaurants and shops. There are a few good shops but some are really bad. But never the less Looe is worth to visit.
- Groovy things to do in Looe: The Liskeard - Looe Railway line is a must - it's really picturesque, and if you get the Liskeard - Looe book in the "Rambles By Rail" series by Platform 5 Publishing, you can go on lots of really lovely walks from the stations along the line to places such as St. Keyne's Well - which is a groovy place - people interested in industrial history may also want to explore parts of the old canal, which the railway took over from.
