  • Norfolk Kitchen
  • Bins at the back of McDonalds- near Jive
  • Don't go to eboe's!!?? Unless you want to lose lots of wieght (and i don't mean it's a health shop!!
  • the lighthouse cafe again!
  • MACCY DS BEST FLIRTING PLACE
  • THERE IS A PIZZA HUT! Opened in Jan I think up near Safeways in South Lowestoft, you can eat in although it is always packed, or you can take-away. MY girlfriend works their (the fit on)
  • sgt.peppers
  • sgt.peppers
  • The guy before me reckons there are only 3 keebab shops in the town. This is aload of bull as well. There are loads of keebab shops in the town most of whcih are fairly acceptable. New Drive through KFC opened oppsite hanks bar and the Arena nightclub. very tasty but not open late
  • Best food is at the corton hut.wekends,2xsteaks for a tenner on friday night is very very good meal.
  • Restaurants: Lorenzo's (Italian), triangle, high street. Quite expensive but good food. Los Locos (Mexican), triangle, high street. Food's ok, but nasty atmos. odd smell of Mr. Sheen last time I was there. Peppers (Thai), high steet. V small but amazing food Pizza & Pancake Co., station square, family atmos, foods ok. Sgt Pepper's, lots of food!! Busy atmos. The Crooked Barn, Ivy House Farm, Carlton Colville. High class swanky time. Incredibly expensive but beautiful food. Amazing cuisine. Looking at easily 30 quid a head, but wow, worth it. Please don't go to KFC, it's such a threat to our great Kebab shops. Lola's opposite Claremont Pier on the main rd, throw together lovely pizzas, kebabs, and chicken pieces. Speedy Peppers, further North down main London Rd also do kebabs etc. Not as good as Lola's though.
  • Dodgy kebabs only after clubbing as KFC and McD's shut very early. Good one called Charcoal Grill on bridge near train station.
  • Do keep away form thr Claremont Pier chip shop. A once good value establishment is now sullied itself by letting Captain Nemo's resturant take them over and put the prices up huge!!!! The chip are crap as well!!! Avoid like the plague!!!!
  • Do not visit the Chick King and have the Jam Ribs!!!!! They are the most revolting, vomit inducing crud ever invented. Try them once, and you will never forget the experience!!!!!
  • The best two cheapest places are the Woodbine Cafe (I kid you not) and Daisies which serve the best vegie burgers I have ever eaten.
[BUT] I think that "Daisies" has closed down (I'll find out some time). Lowestoft has a KFC, McDonalds and Wimpy, but no bloody Pizza Hut! There are three Kebab shops, and are all open fairly late. The "Mediterranean" is along London Road North, "Charcoal Grill" near the bridge (Station Square) and the other (I can't remember the name) is along London Road South, near the "Zone" nightclub (very convenient!). There is an excellent curry house at the top of London Road North (near the Mobil garage) called the "Seeta". Well worth a visit!
