You can tell us more about Lowestoft.

Cinemas
  • Marina Theatre shows films on a better screen than the Hollywood, but if you want to take it in better visually then go for Hollywood anyway as there's less to take in at once (depeding on where you sit)
  • lowestoft cinema is very small my lounge at homes bigger .I would travel to norich
  • Dont go to the Hollywood. Go to Norwich.
  • Dodgy Hollywood- but forget it, it sucks and is tiny and quiet
  • The Hollywood cinema sucks big time and is sadly the only real cinema in town- so tiny- could be a portable tv on a table- needs knocking down and replaced with a decent UCI - or just less tiny screens!! Or you could wait months for it to be played at the Marina theatre- massive screen and nice surround sound.
  • never bother, got the hollywood on london road south but it is so-so, nothin worth writing about but who cares once u have settled to watch the film
  • cinema here is crap its so small!! id rather travel miles than go there!!
  • Hollywood cinema is possibly the worse cinema in the world they show films about a month late and screen them once in a blue moon in the uks dingiest screens.
  • hollywood, where i went for work experience, theres no other choice really but its alright
  • Hollywood Cinema, extortionate, small, cramped, scummy, no discounts. Better off traveling to Norwich for UCI, Riverside. Marina theatre show films very cheap and quite regularly. Normally later than release, but good if you missed something. Lowestoft Family Bowl, nice atmos, not too expensive. Tucked away down Rants Score, off High Street (North end)
  • 2 small! Screen3 (where you go if you miss film in the first week of release is v.annoying with a fire exit light that shines in your faceif you sit on rows near back!!!
  • You have the Hollywood Cinema, but that must be one of the smallest cinemas in the country. You now have Lowestoft Bowl, a surprisingly busy bowling centre, and there are rumours that a large cinema and lesiure complex is opening up where the old fish market is!
  • Go to Norwich.
