Local Bands
- Union Jacked. That's MY band- we're a local punk band, we're doing the rounds so keep an eye out- www.freewebs.com/union-jacked Other bands to look out for are One Day Life, These Bloody Hands and THE BEST band in the area, and I'm talking better than The Darkness is RIVERS. They're always at the corten hut. You HAVE to see them. They're just SO good. They do chillis, Green Day (woo!) Older stuff, like bon jovi and nirvana, and its such a big selection you're bound to like somthing! www.rivers-music.com
- The best band from Lowestoft has got to have been D-VOID- What is happening with these guys? I take it they have split up? Which would be a shame- They are the only Lowestoft band to ever perform at The Download festival castle donington (so far) (as darkness are officially from London and have never ever played locally as a band!and 'A' are from wrentham) they were supportive of local music and other bands/venues- filming their prize winning video at the best live venue in town- The Brewery- (which i have to update- hasn't lost it's entertainment license as reported elsewhere on this site- and never has??) i have followed the bands progress for some years- and they truly are fantastic musicians- the best around i thought- can play anything! Anyway- that's me done! ha ha- anyone know what they are doing after D-VOID? have they split?
