- COLVILLE HOUSE/EAST COAST SKATERS R.I.P after 18 years its finally come to an end. Big respect to all the ledgendary local skaters from over the years, to name but a few: Aaron Cone, James Thompson, Glen Waters, Dan Gray, Lee Setterfeild, Blake Ayres, Steve Clarke, Simon Fondant Lines, Martyn Skillings, Dave Hall. Good Times ! !
- Floor 6 in the Somerfield car park (watch out for cars!) or if you're feeling energetic, go traips a couple of miles to one of the skate parks. Its more like an expadition really. Or there's the Bus Station. Roll on summer.
- oulton broad again thats where all the good skateboarders hangout! especially the fit ones!! hee hee
- look out for massive concrete park coming in summer 2004, big up the Aaron Cone for the work and money- raising. plans look amazing.
- I'm not tellin ya! Do what we did. Get your board go skate and find them. Real street skating...
- tescos near pleasure wood hills has got a nice 7 set with a huge rail you need to go on sunday after 4.30pm and thebadger homes in parkhill out side 5 the pastures has got some smooth pavements like butter and some sick grass gaps also theres the park in yarmouth on the main cross road
- the new aldi on comercial road has a super smooth surface and some good gaps and manual gaps but altogerther is good for a tech session
- there is no where we need a skat park
- Not sure, guess the Beach's prominade may prove useful.
- The colville house skate park has made a big come back!! They've finally raised the money and built a decent sized metal half pipe, there's also some kick ass ramps and fun boxes and they've still got the quarter pipe indoors. It's certinally a place to visit if you live near by.
- Meadow school now has nosey neighbours who have been told (so i have heard) to phone the police if anyone is seen skating anywhere in school, they have also set up regular patrols!!! Fun spoilers.
- Sparrows Nest - right up at the north end of Lowestoft - big stairs w. rails
and other assorted obstacles (includes big, steep bank in caravan park)
Clapham House - social security building - set of 7 with very nice slidy rail.
Also has library steps round corner.
Outside KFC - sketchy set of 3 long steps
Train station - little blocks: useful for warm-up
Somerfield multi-storey - smooth surface on top 2 floors - bank and waxed curbs
Very grindable benches outside Woolworths - watch out for Police intervention
and remember to moon at cameras.
COMING SOON (hopefully)
BRAND SPANKING NEW SKATEPARK: *COUNCIL RUN - IS BEING BUILT FOR THE MILLENIUM
*NO NEED TO AVOID THE POUNDMAN (YOU KNOW WHO I MEAN LOCALS!!)
*LOTS OF SPONSORSHIP MONEY GOING IN
*HUGE INDOOR SITE NEAR THE SEA (I think)
- and blading - along the front
- Bummer Herringbone pavement on High Street. Post in font of steps at Post Office to stop skaters. Seafront bad news if you've got small wheels. Well Coville (School Road off Victoria Road, Oulton Broad) house is still there pity there is just a couple of dodgy pieces of wood left so nothing to skate there really. Skaters are trying to raise the final 500 pounds to get a metal ramp put next to Coville House so should be something to skate over the summer. B&Q Warehouse with a nice carpark next to Lowestoft (ask for directions) some nice curbs.
- *Harris Middle School- set of 6 steps, set of 4, plenty of concrete and bank to drop *Claremont Pier - lots of blocks (drops), set of 4 and bigger, sketchier set. *Bank near Birds-Eye factories *Magistrates Courts - stairs and rails *Meadow Primary School - good for less talented skaters, but does have waist-high rail *Colville House now has lots of sick ramps : fly-off, quarterpipes, bank, spine, driveway, grind box, rails and resurfaced mini ramp and 8ft metal halfpipe. *South Pier - small set of 3, watch out for BOGMAN FROM BELOW
