- For Pub Grub I reckon the Chequers, Woodside is excellent as are the Red Lion in nearby Boldre, or the Turfcutters Arms, which does huge servings.
If you want a young pub try The Black Cat or the Thomas Tripp or if you want a traditional pub go for Chequers or The Fishermans Rest.
There are pool tables at the Blue Pig behind the Angel Inn.
- The black cat is where all of the young people go (and also the old wanting to be young) it has a terrible DJ on a friday night playing the same set every week for as long as i can remember and i moved out three years ago, hes still the same when i go back!
