The Worst Things
- Lymington is INCREDIBLY isolated...The train station is NOT connected to the main line to London (which crucially runs through southampton/bournemouth, the only places worth going nearby), which means there's a service that runs backwards and forwards to brockenhurst station (which IS on the main line..). Only problem is because it's such a small service it stops very early in the evening! Unless you're prepared for a £20 taxi fare from brockenhurst station you can never go out. I beg of you: do not bring up your children in lymington unless you want them to become naive little hermits or bitter little malcontents cursing their lost youth in the drab little town of lymington!!
- The films on at the cinema are already on DVD!
- The big social divide.
- People who'd rather sit at home than make new friends and take a few safe risks afloat!
