The Best Things
- The Highcliffe House Hotel in Lynton is one of the best places we have stayed at. Good food,lovely rooms and very friendly hosts, they deserve their top star rating.
- The Clif railway, joining Lynmouth at the bottom to Lynton at the top.
- Without a doubt, the scenery here on Exmoor. This has got to be the most beautiful area in Devon. Cliffs and rolling moorland are great for walking and this is one place you just have to experience. Notable places to visit are: The Valley of Rocks, Countisbury Hill, Lynmouth sea front (when the tide is in), and the road from Lynmouth to Porlock is ideal for fast motorbikes. The weather can also be great.
