- The King's School in Macclesfield - the school dates back to 1502 and although the current main building was constructed in the early 1920's it still looks magnificent. The cricket pitch and pavilion also lend a pleasing asthetic touch.
- Arighi's. And the Castle street side of Dolci's for the graffiti (such as the indecipherable 'Michael J Fox we will rook you')

- Christ's Church. Macclesfield's poncy consevative council knocked down the tomb of the famous Brocklehurst Mill reformer and general cool victorian geezer to built a car park. says it all really. But if you go inside English Heritage have done a good job of reconstructing the pulpit that John Wesley preached from, though how he got into the thing God only knows!
Also try Macclesfield Museum in West Park opposite the Hospital. A cute little red brick place (the skate boarding ramp is outside it) and inside there's loads of kewl Egyptian stuff from the brocklehurst's trips around the world. Well ace.
