• In a town rich with characters it's impossible to single out individuals. One trip to town at around 2.30am on a weekend will highlight some of the crazy, funny, insane people available in the valley!

• No Entertainers In Maesteg But The Main Pastime Apart From Drinking Is Pointing At Aeroplanes And Saying Whats That?
• Only the sad people who give us a laugh by sitting in the old men's bus shelter- drinking a can of srong white cider is a must!! Also the arseholes who live on the DSS above the Spar,who think it's cool to jump of out of windows 15 feet up- dull as F**k. And a big shout to the arseholes who got knocked clean out on the millenium eve- Wankers all of ya!
• The only street entertainers you'll see here will be too drunk to remember what they have done the next day.
• Andrew Southgate and all his "arty" friends who play their guitars outside the Valley dinner on weekday mornings.
• Dale White and Gareth Hopkins perform regularly as a comedy duo on Friday afternoons at the "old man's" bus shelter on Talbot St. Rumour has it they are about to break into tv.
• outside the bierd at about 2.00am (there are some real good shapes, and people who to drink)
• Well, there was Billy Irish, but he's snuffed it, so that's a right bloody shame. Poor Billy.
