The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Maida Vale.
Pubs
- The Skiddaw is brilliant, nice atmosphere and not too pretentious. They sell wasabi peas too, which is always a bonus.
- The Prince Alfred on Formosa Street is excellent, very quirky design and quite homely.
- I well remember the "Heroes of Maida" pub back in the 1964/5 period. Well out of the way, no tourist would ever find it thank goodness. Last year I walked by and was sad to see it all boarded up and derelect. Wots its future ?
