I am trying to find out about my Mothers family. Their names were Job(Joseph)Jackman & Maud Jackman(nee Hanton)They lived at 131 Wheeler Street,in the early 1900s, and they had a daughter Victoria Anne Jackman(my mother) Job or Joseph was a ropemaker(Journeyman..whatever this was)and he used to make the ropes for hangings at the prison.

I was serving in the Royal Engineers 1970-74 Stationed in The old Barracks Maidstone
