- Johnny Hotrocks. Anyone know if he still does discos in the town?
- the fact that you can always wake up the next morning after a one night stand and get a cooked breakfast off her mum coz she also is your aunt
- The best Border Morris side in Essex (Dark Horse).
The best place on the East Coast to keep a boat.
- nomater where you are in maldon its never that far to walk coz its so small
- Only 30 mins from Colchester! Much Much Much Much Much better than bloody chelmsford
- best thing bout maldon is the men!!!!oh and ma mates!!!!
- One of the est things has to be the 2nd hand bookshop just opposite the Park Its easily the best in Essex - and Im not an owner!!! Great place to get lost in for ours. And I would also add in the main street is a great cheapo bookshop - works as a great double!
And another great thing nobody has mentioned yet the great old Thames Barges on the river; dead pretty if you like that sort of scenic thing.
- the prom is great for birds and sun and ice cream
- Carps.
The Prom in the Summer.
Beeleigh Abbey.
- The bits that the tossers from the District council haven't managed to sell off or build on. Also, the memories of fantastic nights at the 'Carps', before it became full of golfing bores.
- The best things are the totty, not the worst things. The rose and Crown is the place too go and pull if you are out on the town.
- Some nice totty
- Promenade Park - large green area by the side of the river, great for relaxing and so on. Natives are mostly easy-going - low (but not zero) possibility of getting your head kicked in.
