- Bewick Suite round the back of the Swan does a good night on Wednesdays local musicians jamming different theme each week have seen some exceptional performances.
Blue Boar if you are over 50 or just like Trad Jazz wine at £3 a glass is ok better buy a bottle @£10.

- White Horse Pub - gigs every Friday and Saturday, and occasional music on Thursdays as well. Jam night every other Wednesday, frequented by big name has-beens. Any live music elsewhere is rare.
- The Jolly Salior (Hythe Quay) has great live music at their annual beer festival, and Clarkie's Pub have the odd bit of a gig.
