  • Several events during the year are worth paying a visit to see. In the Summer the Prom Fantasia is a great musical event held over two evenings at the promenade park. A pop/rock evening is followed by a 'classical' evening, with fountains and fireworks. In the Winter you can have fun getting dressed up in Victorian costume, fighting your way through crowds of morris dancers and brass bands, or popping into the methodist church for a mince pie and a cuppa, before getting some last minute christmas shopping at Maldon's Victorian Evenings.
  • banyards taxis in the high street
  • Maldon can I believe lay claim to the shortest cycle track in the world. It is located at Fullbridge and is about 60 metres long.
