  • Once a year in August theres a folk week held in broadstairs, they have craft tents and loads of hippi things going on.

  • The 'Grotto' is a well known local 'folly' and is situated in Grotto Hill (really!) between Cliftonville and Margate. It is a sort of cave completely covered in sea shells - most peculiar.
