Record Shops
- I think the shops that sell CD'S and other things like that fall down in this town, in this town, shops are ether hit with high rates of theft or because the town is so rough and like you get stabbed if you look at someone the wrong way, people dont shop here no more, probably go to westwood cross or make the trip to Canterbury.
- Richards records in canterbury is a great shop where you can find new and old drum n bass tape packs, vinyll etc, quite a good alternative selection with rare finds.
- HMV at Thanet Cross
- Soundhouse in Broadstairs. Theres that one in Margate old townm with the faded posters but I havent actually been in there..
- hmv in canterbury, nowehere in thanet
- SOUND HOUSE IS A GOOD RECORD SHOP 4 ANY DJ WITH NEW TUNES IN WEEKLY CAN THE DUDE IS SAFE ,, AS A DJ MY SELF I FIND THE SHOP HAS MANY SELECTIONS SUCH AS DRUM N BASS HIP-HOP R,N,B POP- ROCK- DANCE - TRANCE & MANY MORE GO THERE 4 YOUR TUNES .. DJ DARKR
- Soundhouse in Broadstairs has some good tracks
Avoid Sanity and the other major shops, loadsa chavs just hang out nearby waiting for fights
- the local chairty shops seem a good choice but alas are run by the usual racist old crones who "know" the value of everything.funhouse records which used to be a very unpleasent atmos(sirly, miserable, hungover, hippies)now sells no vinyl and cd's that are cheaper anywhere.
- W4 at Dane Court. You can listen to Beethoven
- one in broadstairs next to veg and woolies store always a differ in price check out before purchase..
- Sound house is wicked, has everything you want- Definitely worth a look
- theres a good shop in the market square ,think the bird who owns it is a yank.
- howling sounds in ramsgate is the best for alternative and other shit on cd or lp.
- Sound House and Alien Records, the guys in there know it all and are fan, blooming, tastic.
- Our Price and Woolies along with WH Smith sell the mainstream junk, Our Price has the edge becuase the staff actually KNOW what you re talking about when you mention Limp Biscuit, Eminem or anything vaguely from this year! For second hand records, CD's and other formats there is only Funhouse records in the Old Market. opposite the old town Hall and Museum. You need to go to Howling Sounds over in Ramsgate for anything else half descent.
- ALIEN RECORD WHICH IS ON TOP OF THE SOUND HOUSE IN BROADSTAIRS IS REALLY GOOD FOR ALT MUSIC AND THE MAN CAN GET LOADS OF RARES AND BOOTLEGS >>>>>>>>>GO THERE
- Soundouse and Funhouse in the high street
- little music store in broadstairs next to woolies

- Sound House Broadstairs
- our price...
- Fun House records in old Margate, Top place, Loads of cool CDs and old crud depending on what you like. Also cheaper than a lot of teh corporate high street franchises. Top staff too.
- There's a small record shop in Broadstairs High Street called Soundhouse. It is an independent that feels nothing like OurPrice (thankfully. They'll order anything you can't find already but they have a pretty interesting selection of releases anyway.
- M.A.D Records for rave.
- Funhouse Records, Old Market Place. New and old chart CD's for an unbeatable £10.95. If you read this, it's Elli's boyfriend who's posted it.
