  • If you like Walking or cycling, then Harborough has the perfect remedy. You can cycle or walk down the disused railing track, now converted into a nature trail. This track extends all the way to Northampton, and holds some of the most beautiful countryside for miles. No traffic to spoil the peace and tranquility and no hills along the way, so no hard work involved. You can start your journey at Little Bowden, close to Protheroes Garage and in no time your in the countryside. There are plenty of Benchs along the way for a rest, and picnic areas are positioned in quite spinneys. For the real adventurous, and wish to cycle 6 miles or so, you can travel through 2 long tunnels, each with a length of approximately 400 metres. (Bring a touch if you have one).
