You can tell us more about Market Harborough.

Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
  • Kazbah all the way. I too agree that after all these years, 26 Heygate Street is the place to be seen.
  • The Broadway
  • there are many clubs and bars the main ones being the sugar loaf cherry tree and enigma
  • Have to admit for me The Kazbah still rocks after all these years ....
  • There's only ever been one 'rateable' Dj in this town, but he seems to have dissapeared since the square re-opened. Good looking guy, tall and slim, likes pizza apparently. I'm sure he'll return one day.
  • there used to be a club called the "frolicking kneecap" in the town centre. it was one of the first proper clubs in the country, and used to stay open until the early hours of the morning playing northern soul and tamla motown. for all those groovy cats! (well that's what my dad says anyway)
  • Enigma-recently refirbished gets to ram them in with a cattle prod now the broadway has closed (mainly cause there is nothing else to do in town), well it needed something like that to happen to make enigma busy. some ugly bar staff, nice ones have webbed feet door staff are not bad but there again they aint good either. music aint bad, drinks watery, carpet smells bad as does the management although if your gay you'll get in free. sum it up: thinks its a city club and is up its own bottom. Should be called apricot's!
  • The Kazbah....Ohh Ahhh
  • Kazbah - Last time I was in there was 20 years ago - is Perch Pilchardd still about?
  • Market Harborough Scottish Country Dance Society meets on Tuesdays at Fairfield Road School (though we are about to stop for the summer). We run 3 dances a year in Market Harborough too. Contact Connie Elphick elphicscandp@duntonbassett.fsnet.co.uk 01455 209446
  • Enigma is worth a late beer and there is a good mix of dance music and cheesy music most nights to keep most people happy
  • broadway is crap so is enigma go out of town sqaure bar is very good only decent place in harborough very friendly bar staff
  • enigma
  • No clubs 4 under 18's
  • Enigma I suppose. Opened a couple of years ago, previously called twighlight. Has a balcony and everything ooooooh!! It is small but nice that you always know people there.
  • yeh, enigma is da best in town- you're better off going to leicester, or better yet, just do an all nighter in london.
  • broadway - innit?? or enigma...
  • Nobody seems to of mentioned 'enigma' the new bar and nightclub much better than the broadmoor and a bit of class downstairs instead of just a meat market
  • enigma is good. 2 floors, and a podeum. however the old broadway is getting a bit..well old now. the people that go say they like it cos you know everyone. but thats exactly the point, you know everyone cos theres only about 10 people there!
  • Broadway - CHEESY! For permenant Harborough residents only. And even then i wudnt waste your time. Enigma bar and club is better.
  • Enigma. Coventry Road. Good, reasonably priced beer. Pretty good music (for the provinces). Decent crowd of people in. Also does good food during the day. If you're over 20, you'll enjoy it. If not, bog off down to the Broadway.
  • THE BROADWAY NIGHTCLUB RIVERSIDE IND ESTATE MARKET HARBOROUGH LEICS TEL 01858 462643
  • The twilight zone was a regular haunt of my mis-spent youth, free to get in and open til late - bargain. DJ is a bit pants though. Go to the broadway for a guaranteed fight or to be roughed up by the meathead bouncers - there all up their own bottoms.
  • Twilight aka Limelight, Slimelight or Twiglet Zone is OK for teenyboppers but for a more enjoyable and mature clubbing experience go to Leicester or even visit Newcastle... guaranteed fun! The Broadway, or 'Broadmoor' as I affectionatly name it is a hole and best avoided. Though the cloak staff are very friendly.
  • Theres only 2 clubs in harborough.Thursday nites at the twighlight zone, are very student but good nights.Friday nights are pub nights most go to the recently new pubs The Square Bar,and The Village Inn,st marys road, which has a late license are the places to be seen in.Both do very good food in the day,and the head barman always has shoulder to cry on,normaly with good advice. Saturday nights are grab a granny nite at the Twighlight, and the best place is The Broadway. On an industrial estate but loud music and very buisy.Twice a month the Broadway has a M.C Reverand who raps and gets the crowd going.A wide range of people go down.Dress code is smart but casual, and its one of those clubs with no trouble and freindly door men.
  • Only two very very bad please don't waste your money
  • Is kazbah still around? why does it never adveritse? The twiglight zone and of cause the broadway everyone say hello to gary the DJ on friday nights he just lovely and so are all the rest of the staff there. I got lost in the twiglet once d'oh
  • Broadway- for14-17 year olds absolute hole avoid. Is the whole Kazbah thing an in joke I am missing out on?
  • THE TWILIGHT-GOOD, THE BROADWAY-BAD
  • What, never heard of the Kazbah & youve lived here 30 years ?
  • Sparkles! cant believe someone mentioned that! It shut down years ago. The Twighlight zone is looking to be extended to double the capacity. At the moment they cram in double the number of people that should be in there! Never heard of the Kazbah and lived here for 30 years!
  • The Kazbah's address is now 26 Heygate Street. The owner Bob welcomes visitors every Friday and Saturday night to free drinks and good times with Spiggy Topes the resident DJ. (Entry £15, but then free drinks all night)
  • I suppose the Twilight Zone (connected to the pub Boscos) and The Broadway. Not great, go to Leicester for a good night out.
  • This is a nice town. It had a night club called Sparkles. Great place in the main street. I think it is High Street.
  • Harborough has three night clubs First there's the Broadway which costs about a fiver to get in. D.J plays the same records in the same order every week, still its very popular. Second is the Twilight Zone, 'free' to get in before 12pm o.k for a late drink and finally there's the Kazbah Lounge which is the top place to be, plays experimental dance ,industrial , etc.
  • The BroadWay, a desolate place in the middle of the Industrial Estate
