You can tell us more about Market Harborough.
Favourite Building
- The Army and Navy store.
- bank
- I still love the old grammer school and the church.
- The old symington factory - now a library
- Thresher's on the High street
- the church and old grammer school are quite cool-and my house!
- Old Grammar School.
- Old Grammar School.
- My house. Yes, it's a David Wilson 5 bedroom job built on a wildlife haven and forming part of the much-maligned commuter belt (incidentally, my better half and I only work in Leicester, not Outer Mongolia, as some would have you believe). We have fabulous neighbours and everyone here is very much into the 'local scene'. We shop and socialise right here in Harborough, and we think it's a fantastic place to live. And, FYI, I'm not saying this to try and further push the limits of the value of our property - we don't want to sell. WE LOVE IT HERE.
- Great Bowden Church - beautiful setting
- Little Bowden Primary School. Simply for being a working place to many excellent teachers, but unfortunately useless dinnerstaff!
- The Old Grammer School, It puts £1000's on House prices
- The old church in the centre rapped in history, and me and my mate blakey climbed the scaffold one night when the church clock was being renavated and changed the time.Drunk may iI add.
- sainsbury many a night spent outside there trying to pull 6th formers.
or the old swimming baths
- NOEL HOUSE- LEICESTER ROAD
- My favourite building has to be the Church Tower, ST D. as it is the only thing i look at out of my bedroom window every morning!
- The Council Offices & Museum now occupy part of the old "Liberty Boddice" factory, Symingtons...it's a smashing old Victorian Building...shame they pulled down the rest !
- That would have to be the Old Grammer School (built in the early seventeenth century). Its picture appears on everything associated with Harborough.
- The Old Boys Grammar School, in the town centre. Medieval wooden building on stilts.
