• there is a band called backline one of harborughs main bands now
• Carl Axon is the famous guitarist from Doctor & the Medics of "Spirit in the sky" fame who lived & worked in Mkt Harboro' his family still live there
• Silent Devices are a band of 16-17-year-olds. They write all their own music, and - unlike most of the other Harborough bands - are really good at it! They've got a kind of indie-emo style. They have played in the past at Frenzy, and they often play at The Shed and The Charlotte in Leicester.
• the haize??????????? hahahaha. Big at school, small in the world. i was always told that would happen.
• The Haize. Where do I start? Passionless copycat music - a frontman who thinks he is a cross between John Lydon and Ian Brown, a dis-interested drummer, a rhythm guitarist no-one knew existed. The other 2 are just about ok. I have not seen a decent performance yet - and yet they play to good crowds (well, the majority of R Smythe 6th form). I saw a recient gig in town and the sound was appalling.
