- there is a musiic shop on st marys road which sell instruments guitars etc but im not sure about any decks or anything
- ABC, need i say more?yes?ok then, they have a great selection, from plecs to stacks,its good, could be pricey,or cheap, dont no, i dont compare with other shops cuz i no there a quality shop, and they no wat there talking about!
- keyboard kavern good shop alas gone from town, but still in business, worth a look, good stock, good guys.

- Geoff and Keyboard Kavern are sadly missed. Now it's ABC Music who sell Fenders and Gibsons in all the colours nobody actually buys...
- There was one that started on Abbey Street and then moved to those horrible little shops opposite the new library I reckon my mum fancied the bloke who owned it and my first Gibson came from there!!!!
- Keyboard Kavern is closing down very soon. ABC Music is really good. Guitar and woodwind lessons available. Woodwind repairs too.

- There used to be a place in Adam & Eve street - but it may have gone now.
- The only one I know of is Keyboard Cavern on Adam and Eve Street. Been in there once or twice. Always quite intimidating!
