• Shoulder of mutton, great Bowden. Has a live band 1st or second Saturday of every month. The atmosphere is great and staff are all lovely :0)
• For me it still has to be the Kazbah Lounge at 26 Heygate Street. The owners a twat but he's open late. Just knock on the door and your in.
• Welland Valley Cycle Centre
• there are gigs around the town mainly in the summer months there are gigs at; there rugb clud near the leisure centre the satalite club on conventry road the kingfisher in town opposite kfc club 53 in the square and the copperfield hotel
• Last time I was in the Kazbah saw some stand up with John Dowie and Frank Sidebottom - think Einstuzende Neubauten were playing - I hear it's still a good night
• Satallite - Wellington suite use to have good gigs but its getting knocked down now
• Not been in the Kazbah Lounge for years. Last time I was there The Fall and Einstuzende Neubauten were playing with John Dowie and Frank Sidebottom doing stand up! Incidentally there's a sister venue on the Overtoom in Amsterdam.
• The Kings Head: especially when 'Retro' are playing.
• TRADES AND LABOUR CLUB HAS ROCKSCHOOLS 1ST TUES OF EVERY MONTH
• joules cafe has bands on every weekend in the summer

• Folk Club at Joule's Eating House plus one that flits from pub to pub (last heard of at the Shoulder of Mutton in Great Bowden).
• Wilbarston Hall for Jools Holland & good quality tribute bands.
• This varies, the Assembly Rooms are quite well used and Robert Smyth School used to have some interesting local student bands every once in a while.

• Rockstomp meant to be the next glastonbury or so there saying.
• Ashley (village 4 miles away) has regular Music nights. See local press for details, as does Wilbarston village hall - its seen some really big names! Lots going on if you know where to look. Ask a local!
• As per Kazbah (Live bands every Thursday (5 to 6 quid to get in)
• Watch out for the Welland Park Music Festival.. Super Show every Year Normally held around Autumn.. so bring plenty of warm clothes, as it`s all outdoor stuff..!
• Music in the Park, has now been running for two years by james Adkins and HDDC. Look forward to the next one1
• No music venues as such, but i've heard that the Harborough Band do a mean tea and dance afternoon.
