- People travel from all over the Irish Sea to visit the Pikey Playground, a themepark for the travelling community. Thrill to a journey across the poorly resurfaced drive. Laugh out loud as your car keys are lifted off your kitchen worktop and your BMW is used to ram raid the local Londis. Take the super Transit journey to a disabled parking space. Visit the leisure centre amusement arcade and win pound coins out the changing room lockers.

- It would be useful if some people could learn to spell before they try to put their brains into gear about a town they obviously don't know. e.g. How do you spell 'Liberty Bodice'? Certainly not with 2 c's.
- Contrary to what others say - a decent night out if all you want is reasonable beer & friendly pubs within close proximity to each other. Clubs are worth a go, if just for a laugh
- The School Dilemma
Finally a new school is being built to accomodate the residential increment. Unfortunately the unorignal name it was given was chosen by 'the people' (readers) of the local rag the Harborough Mail. And what a load of tripe that is. The only page worth reading is the letters page as this highlights the fact that there are bright tolerant thinkers out there as well as the ignorant majority.
- groups- like the whiggers, skaters and the punk- revivalists- are an extremely common sight- if you're a photographer, you should get down to the high st and square
- Market Harborough was used as a line in Blackadder once when Edmund said something about "Stumpy McNolegs, the winner of last years Market Harborough marathon"
