Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains in Marlow, Buckinghamshire*

The more interesting clothing stores

You can tell us more about Marlow.

Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
  • Fusion is pretty good, as it's a lot younger and funkier than other Marlow shops (although the pricing isn't that much better!). There's a new one just opened near the high street zebra crossing, called Dynamite - this has pretty cheap looking clothes but the accessories are v funky
  • Monsoon is ok if you're a) well moneyed, b) Like middle class hippy wear, or c) are female and aged over 30. Nice scarves and stuff.
  • If you don't earn £1000 per day, don't bother shopping in Marlow. Most of the clothes are for fuddy duddies anyway, and they cost a bomb. I would recommend trips to High Wycombe, Reading or Maidenhead if you are shopping on a budget.
  • The clothes shops in marlow are getting a lot better as most of them are closing down to make way for all the big chain stores(marks and spencer, clinton cards etc)To set the record straight about deerstalkers(now called Newport) they're one of the best clothing shops for men and women in Marlow as they have a good mixed range. They sell Tommy Hilfiger, timberland, dockers and more.Marlow is rapidly becoming High wycombe.
  • Tons of pricey boutiques. Turner Sports for yer Mambo, Billabong, Vans at exorbitant prices. Fat Face for pretty good gear, watch out for the over the top manageress though.
  • In marlow to shop you need to have a lot of money. Most of the clothes shops are for middle aged men and women.
  • Uggh. Unless you have an enormous pile of cash lying around it's not a good place for clothes. Definitely catering for the tourists and seriously wealthy locals. That aside, a good mix of female and male shops (at time of writing: Repertoire, Landmark, Viyella, to name a few). Just to remind you where you are, though, is the only shop I know that actually tout DeerStalkers as the permanent "in thing" (and they have a new selection in the Window every year).
  • Repetoire on the high street is a bit bloody expensive, but they do have some nice togs
  • all far too expensive. You have to go farther afield if you want clothes that you don't need a second mortgage to afford. Watford, Reading, etc.. for Shopping Centres with usual High Street brand names.
  • Not recommendeed, you need a mortgage to buy penny chews there, let alone clothes.
  • Loads of really expensive designer clothes shops None of any interest to anyone with a life (or below the age of 40). Go to Maidenhead or Reading for clothes.
