The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- You can't have a relationship with someone from Marlow cos chances are, they have been with half your friends and people you couldn't stand at school.
- A town is only as good as the people who make it. And it's a shame that the people who made Marlow what it is today (and made it look attractive to those outside) are being driven out by lairy city types with far more money than manners. It's a town that's rapidly becoming sterile as up and coming locals, who can't afford the astronomical house prices, are being forced to relocate elsewhere. In the last 20 years I've lived and grown up there I've witnessed an exodus of local character and talent on a devastating scale. It's only a matter of time before the town's lifeblood is sucked out completely leaving the tourists jostling amongst themselves in the endless supply of dowdy chain-restaurants, whilst the residents who are left stay locked up behind their big iron gates and high hedges; too selfish to even step outside the confines of their vastly overpriced properties.
- It feels safe at any time of night or day and the pubs ALL have beer gardens which make it a top Summer spot.
