• The new "Hardy's" is superb. Just what we needed in Mayland. It is smart and family run by people that are making a huge effort. Superb food food too.
• horney toad, mayland mill or the general lee.
• THE GENERAL LEE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT , PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE US BY THE LAST LANDLORD , SO COME ON DOWN AND ENJOY A PINT AND NICE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE WITH OUR FREINDLY STAFF , WE WILL BE RE-OPENING IN MARCH , EVERYBODY IS WELCOME .
• the general lee is good if you are a regular. however be preperd to read the sun or daily mail or you wont know what the guys at the bar are talking about!
• the hoppers (horny toad) is the best pub in the village.....the owner is real nice guy and every1 is jus really friedly.....i am yet 2 make friends....
• the genral lee is nice and quite and very 1970s got 2 toilets even thogh never sceen more than 10 people in there
• best pun is the horny toad, u will always see a friendly face that u no....somewhere to go to really have a good time :)
• mayland mill is now an indian. BOOO!!!!
• Mayland Mill, even though its also an indian restaurant, the put is still good and friendly. Horney toad is great, really friendly you can always have a laugh.
• Horney Toad is pretty good, you always end up chatting to someone, its friendly and nice.
• Were 3 pubs. Now 2 cause 1 is an indian. What a joke!!
• There are only two pubs in Mayland now as the Mayland meal is now an indian restuarnt! The horny toad is the more lively pub where every one walks out wobbly and the general lee, is the pub where old peeps hang out i fink and sit in there in silent cos' probly get told to be quiet!
• the general lee is wicked if ur 50 and if ur young u should start going there big up general lee it rules
• GENERAL LEE. you might have trouble distinguishing the bar from the toilets,also you wont get served if you dont fit in(old,boring,prepared to lick landlords boots etc) HORNY TOAD.top place friendly staff and punters.also got big screen for football. MAYLAND MILL.was ok but now is a resturant and off licence

• Well we have a grand total of three pubs in our fun filled village! Although you'd have more fun and better company in a cemetary than the one based in the middle (anyone guess which one i'm talking about - its got to be about the only pub in the country that still shuts in the afternoon!)Mayland Mill and Horny Toad - both good as long as you're a regular - feel sorry for some strangers that walk in sometimes though - all very clicky if you don't know the right people!
