Cheap Food
- dont get delivery from the curry hut, they cant speak english for shit, you never get what you want nor on time if you live somewhere they havnt been before. twats.
- the pet shop in the bell centre!! they have food going cheep?!?!?!?!?
- chinese on sherrard street, dim sum, always give you free drinks and extras with your order. fantastic food at the white next door to currys but slightly expensive.
- WINDY RIDGE FISH BAR is the best fish and chip shop in MELTON! Lots of variety, great service and value for money.Owned by the nicest people you will ever meet!
- The best restaurant by far is the English Bistro on Leicester street. John the owner is brilliantly funny but do not go there if you can't take abuse. It is all good natured and John and his wife are genuinely fine people. The next best place is the Grange Restaurant on Asfordby Rd. The restaurant is part of a garden centre. The speciality of the chef is Alpine food and is wonderful. The owner is a nice guy as are all his staff. On the weekend their ore some very attractive waitresses working there.
- Englishes Bistro, McDonalds, USA chicken, plenty of chippies (Ocean Blue is the best) and lots of chineses and indians

- English's Bistro on Leicester Street is brilliant for an evening out. The owner looks like a cross between John Cleese and Bernard Cribbins and is a really funny guy. Oh, and the food's pretty good too. Book ahead.
- Ye Olde PorkPie Shoppe. Superb and not expensive bakery.
- no restaurants. There is a takeaway out of town, but the food is often covered with wool and you have to cook it yourself.
