  • Okay. In the park at the back theres is a mini with extensions, 3 doubled coped rails and a concrete block thing. There aint a lot of room to manauver so dont get excited. The train staion is really smooth concrete with a kinked wall which is backside if you skate regular. Its a bit gash and Sam North had a really nasty bail on it so be warned. Swallowdale primary school is AMAZING. smooth run up and landing on everything. Theres a nice set of 3 out front with low square rails on both sides (all rails are low as designed for primary school children)you might need a short board if you skate these rails as the landing sometimes goes into grass. Round the back is a long (Unskateable) set with the SWEETEST square rail. Its pretty long to but its sik. then theres is a big playground with a set of six and a square rail down. You can do the two in one run (rail - Trick - steps). It is definetly worth checking out. Over the road the council made a flat rail but put it in the middle of GRASS, its really hard to skate but now you know it is there. The Upper school (King Edward VII) is dope, some steps and grindy steps/kerbs. The little college on king street is ok, good for a chilled skate. In the town centre there are a couple of blocks, pretty sweet. Behind Argos is the loading bay, nice drop off. the Magistates court had (not sure if it has been renevated yet) a crppy set of 3 and a ramp from level to level in the car park. Its pretty mellow but it aint bad. if you look around the industrial estates you will find some steps and stuff, they are all over the place. There is a gap/drop outside the co-op on Scalford Road with a manual pad next to it (be warned its big, with a bigish drop, make sure you can ollie)
  • there IS NOT a 9 foot vert down at the Town Park plus two spines and a hip with a square rail! (although there are rumours of a skate park being built in a old warehouse next to the train station). King edward school is the best place for street skatin (repaired 6 set with a nice run up). There is a mini ramp in the town park, but its not worth it cus its a griffited wreck, but might aswell check it out...
  • Sarson high school is really good for some street skating. Sets of 2-7 steps. Lots of steps and gaps. A few nice curbs and flat land spots up there too. Go up there and have a look around.
  • there is a sik big ass gap down at the trainstation right at the end o' the car park. gap on mill street car park ova the wee lil barrier. and the marble steps at keVII is allways a sik seshy. while ure up there skate everythin else...
  • yeah, mini college! grotty broken lil half pipe in the park.... heh - DH
  • There is now a new 9 foot vert down at the Town Park plus two spines and a hip with a square rail
  • the river is the best fun for skatebording, because it smells the nicest
  • the college by the bus station, manual thing with drop at the end. town centre block. little college by the cinema, driveways, long manual. swallowdale school, lots of handrails, steps, benches. iceland, wall to do tricks over. mini ramp in the park (finished at the end of may.)
  • Try the bus stop near the College some fun there
