- The Portuguese restaurant is fantastic, the chef and his wife are really top folks!
- The Chinese in River street. How much of the food gets thrown away by drunks with eyes bigger than thier already bloated bellies?
- Dominoes Cafe opposite Curio Corner, selling great coffee,tea,sandwiches,baguettes,pasties all in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere!!!!!!!
- Don't dare go to Wit's End - you will OD on M People and be choked by the smell of basil. Go to the fudge shop. And FOR YUMMY food, go to Mr.Bistro
- This record started life as a home for a mention for the Rainbow Restaurant, which deserves some kind of award for the most friendly waitress of the year, 1996. I don't think I've ever been made to feel so welcome -- and we arrived just before they were about to stop serving, too. Wonderful. Oh, and to be fair: the food was excellent too.
- The Central Cafe take away or eat in. Lots of fish and chip shops around, after all it is a fishing village!!
