  • wishing well does a spectacular lasagne and chips for only 3.95!!! bargain.
  • supercook, yum yum chicken in battered balls a winner it'll feed a family of five.
  • love super cook chinese is really mouth watering.
  • Theres always pats on park road for a cheap cheese sandwich nicly greated on her 1 knee.
  • mc donalds kfc (im dreamin ) oh and mekki d and mezza (dont go to mezza )(big rats in the back)
  • mezza for chips nd cheese.dont go to best pizza they use egg instead of chicken!!!
  • Fantastic new chinese takeaway on Adwick road/ Arnold crescent. You can watch it being cooked in front of yer. As good as any in Leeds.
  • Burger Bar has rats but that dont stop DIANE there is also the bagel factory which slacky seems 2 b fond of
  • NEVER GO TO MEZZA
  • the wishing well at mexborough. also mezza do a mean kebab and chips on the way home from the boozer.
  • mezza, mex delight, monroes, Lucky Garden, Daryls chippy bottom of dryden.
  • u cant grumble at mezza's
  • Smack for the junkies, And beans for the rich
  • Smack
  • The Royal Electric Theatres, cafe royal restaurant is now open again, with martin a great chef, who cooks up some great food, very varied menu all at GOOD prices, daytime and evening menu, so theres something for everyone, there are plans to reopen the basement bar sometime. 15th to 20th april 2003, there is a beer festival here to, £10 entrance fee, drink, food and entertainment all inclusive.
  • Royal Electric Theatre, Mexborough delight, Mezza, Lucky Garden
  • Food mmmmmmmmm, only 1 place to go MEZZA, great staff, good food, but hey im biased cos i get some of mine 4 free lol
  • The best one is by far the happy Kitchen across from the Corner pocket, ask for a meal for 2, i swear you won't be able to eat it all (HMMM)
  • Monroes
  • quite a few take aways but maybe a bit close to each other, for example between the nat west bank and royal electric theatre theres monroes, mezza, mex delight and the chinese - there is no need
  • The Royal Electric - Under new management, exlusive new menu to choose from and the chef makes some great snap.
  • "Best Kebab",Bank Street. Few people know that they do 2 pizzas for the price of 1. Monroe's surely can't be in business for much longer. Monroe's restaurant might still be open if they didn't use their waitresses' tips to pay their wages. Tightwads. Avoid 'em for those 2 reasons alone.
  • chi's wath road hes been there for ages
  • Monroes Pizza is OK when you're really desperate.
  • Mexborough Delight, 2 for 1 pizza's and they're good. The Chinky opposite the Corner Pocket is excellent.
  • Lynn's Chippy on Main Street is the best...& there's no skin on the fish! Her home-made chilli's a bit crap though...just tastes like mince! :-(
  • The curry hut gave me the squitts, if you want to spend 3 milleniums on the loo using about a million lav rolls then give it a visit
  • The Whitehouse owned by Harry May who also had a toy shop on Main St.
  • Angies plaice on Hirst gate was always worth a visit. Monroes pizza was a novelty when it arrived, as with that curry place next to gateways. Other than this I'm afraid that you'll have to put up with the crap pub lunches supplied by that crap footballer who played for Wolves.
  • The New Chippy at the bottom of HirstGate do a nice chicken sandwich.
  • Monroes, fine quality Kebebs to soak up the Sam Smiths
  • Monroes do a tasty pizza, chicken kebeb, and pencil-thin chips. Will deliver within 24 hours. E-Coli guaranteed.
  • Yum Yum, lots of it, but no McDonalds/Burger King/KFC :( - But, there's this lovely [or used to be when I tried it] little snack shop in town, must only be 2 metres wide, but they were my fave before i left :) Hot foods.. yummy :)
  • Best chippie in town is just further up from the Plant, on the other side of the road !
