• Mexborough School is being demolished, there is a new state of the art comprehensive being built at the moment by Norwest Holst. The school is due to open in the new school year, September 2008 with the old one being demolished soon afterwards. I know this because I am working on the project. If only we could keep the locals off our site until then, things would go a lot quicker and smoother!
