- jjb
- Kindamagik - Alternative stuff
- RED SQUARE. 159 Linthorpe Rd. Forget the rest this is the best, Ive read some thing on here and ppl keep banging on about Psyche. Well Im sorry to let you know people but it is overpriced, overrated and overhyped. Red Square sells quality gear Silas Carhartt, Marshall Artist, Michiko Koshino, Yen Jeans etc. Similar to Union in Newcastle and Gate in Sunderland.
- the clothes shops are shit the town centre? ha ha its like a high street! lol
2nd hand stuff well mingin..

Deep=Random Second Hand Gear=Way cool.
- If your into "Trendy" clothes the best places to shop are USC, Republic, Envy, Box & Garage. If your a big spender Psyche, Triads etc, personally I don't have £300 to buy a pair of socks with.
- river island middlesbrough is fantastic. i found the staff in there really helpfull especially ladies footwear manager, the express manager and mens second sales manager. they are great and really hot!!!
- Phscye, traids yakuza.. all posh but full of pretty boys who think it's cool to spend £60 on a t-shirt at the moment
- H and M, M&S, Woolworths for the young uns,
- Garage, Yakuza and Box all play nice music, have over friendly staff and actually sell quality clothes as well.
TK maxx for bargains.
- goth shop in dundas arcade boro very good over priced
- linthorpe rd is a designer haven
- Right, being the style guru that i am i have to tell everyone in the world of the most amazing places to get clothes on Middlesbrough. It is not PSYCHE!!!!, Its the marvellous array of charity shops. Linthorpe village and in the town near specsavers is where they all seem to be situated. Great for getting one off bargains and helping those in need as well. I must say that the bestes charity shop with the bestest clothes ever is the ALZHEIMERS charity shop on Greasham Rd.
- Topshop, topshop, erm miss selfridges, warehouse,
- Au generale overall. Most of your high street places have set up shop here, nothing out the ordinary in town. But there was a place called Probe that sold Fubu and all that crap. But sorry you budding gangstaz, I'm pretty sure it shut up shop. Psyche looks very impressive and has recently moved into the old Boyes shop. Its massive but the only people I see going in are prats (obvious students with ripped jeans and scarves and dam suit jackets with jeans, I just don't get it) they do sell Stussy stuff as well that I like. Overpriced as you can guess though.
- topshop ware house etc
- TRIADS IS MY FAVE !
- rack and rail swindle
- probe
- Nicola Russell(Linthorpe Road), brand new shop 2003,check it out!!!!! has an amazing collection!!!Bliss,Joi all for individual unique clothes(ladies) The usual topshop, warehouse etc
- JD sports, the only place for clothes, none of that physche styly boy shiat. Got me some ghetto nike air max from there.
- rack and rail, er...psyche, and topshop. what do you mean, they're everywhere? wel, can you get me the pink snoopy dress in a 12 then please?!
- Red square, triads, syke, box, usc loads of othere quite good for shopping.
- anywhere in middlesbrough that sells decent clothes is far to expenseive
- my favourite clothes shops are TK MAXX in Middlesborough and in Triple S- Durham. Excellent clothes, Triple S is a bit expensive tho.
- house of fraser ,box ,topman, burton ,river island ,usc ,and psyche of course
- rack and rail and TOP SHOP
- the boro has loads of charity shops, it can well be the charity shop hangout of the while world
- If you want to fit in with the crowds of lads you need to be visiting jjb jd or dixons for that perfect orange n black kappa tracksuit and nike air max trainers but if you are a girl and you want to fit in triads and physche offer the best range of white dresses and black stilletos available in the town (lil place called zed to go for your acid yellow perm!!!)just to finish of the look
- cost to much go to newcatle prices better
- Probe - for hip hop wigga stuff.. TK maxx for kids with style and help the aged, cords for £1 a pair :D
- Wherever you can afford. Pound stretcher is good for the bargains.
- psyhce, triads, spirito(saint spirit), yakoza, red square, bertie, box, envy,
- Oxfam - People are sure to find the best branded names of clothes here!
- next, wallis, phsyce, box femme, rack n rail swindle, dorothy perkins, accessorize, etam / tammy, paragon, officers club, stolen from ivor, new look, select, usc, M & S, debenhams, binns, republic, littlewoods, bay, loadsa sports shops, etc etc etc etc etc etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Top Man for suits/shirts etc.
- topman you can get a good shirt from here
- Cant beat the officers club, 70% off EVERYTHING!!!
- Topman, and all the other sports shops.
- Judging by the carrier bags being carried around in the town, it seems like the most popular clothes shop is Primark (nice). The other clothes don't have bags because they are usually nicked!
- Middlesbrough is home to some of the best award winning specialist shops around. This inclues Psyche and The box which sell smart designer clothes at reasonable prices the shops are great and the staff more than happy to help.
- Scallywags - Pallister Park
Peter The Indian - Door To Door salesman(not his real name)
- Psyche
- usc, triads, box, psyche, all good for ladies gear
- QUIT A LOT BOX IS GOOD BUT PRICEY BUT LOTS OF GOOD SHOPS
- clothes shops are fantastic in middlesbrough, you wouldn't dare to visit the Dicken's if you weren't in the latest shirt from Psyche, which cost you a whole weeks wages and then you could no longer afford a pint.
- There is a HUGE Next on linthorpe road, which is really good clothes, otherwise, not much
- charity shops by the bucketful
- psyche linthorpe road
- Republic has not long opened in the cleveland centre which is quite good selling brands like FCUK , Fred Perry and Diesal as well as all the other good ones like Box, Envy etc
- marks n sparks
- Check out The Great Rack n Rail Swindle on Borough Road -skate/streetwear, band wear and lots of funky teeshirts. Rack n Rail has a bigger selection than Probe (the other skatewear shop), plus it's cheaper and the assistants aren't as pushy!!! (if u can't find it, just follow a group of skaters/goths....they'll go there sooner or later
- WHEN SUSSED SKATE SHOP DISSAPEARED, IT WAS DOWN TO THAT PLACE NEAR THE UNI, AND THE RACK AND RAIL SWINDLE.
- Triads is a personal favourite of mine. Also, box and psyche are top shops as well!
- Binns ; Middlesbrough's Premier department store now undergoing a major re-furbishment from House of Fraser is well worth a visist , the department store with the most retail floors in the whole of the North of ERngland is situated on Linthorpe Road (Oppisiste Debenhams , Topman & BHS.) . Selling Base , Valentino , Paul Smith , Fcuk , Sonneti , Linea ,Giant , Vivane Westwood , and much much more!
- gotta try out tkmax...the best for less
- Pysic
- Lots of towny crap but have a walk around, some good stuff
- All the usual high street shit.... try Rack and Rail for more interesting clothes
- Boro's offical club shop at the btcellnet riverside stadium or in the captain cook square
- river island,box,garage etc.
- Dont shop in parogon, horrible sales assistants and cheap nasty clothes at expensive prices. Oh and dont EVER expect a refund.
- Lots of designer shops opening!!
- Get totally funky - get to PARTY PANTS (corner of Linthorpe Road and Parliament Road, m'bro) It's a fancy dress shop but, man, they stock stax of original 60s/70s retro gear - superbad!!! 24" flares etc. disco shirts, funky little dresses..... lurvvve!!!
- Best of the Best is Probe!!Nuff said!
- Box: this is an expensive shop but they sell all of the best Designer Labels at a reasonable price, i.e. Daniel Poole, Chipie, Valentino etc... [OR:] This is not regarded by the local residents as an expensive shop and stocks the likes of Soviet, Firetrap, Henri Lloyd, Fila, Kappa, Sergio Tacchini, Marc O'Polo and loads more :-&
- Garage: they are owned by the same company as Box. Concentrates on the more casual labels such as Ricci, hipie, Full Circle, Ben Sherman, Hope and Glory, Simpson, Hooch etc.
- Psyche: this is the most expensive clothes shop in Middlesbrough. They sell all of the best designer clothes for the most expensive prices. They have two stores, one for men and one for women, both situated on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.
- The Officers Club: this is very good value. They sell some decent shirts and jeans that are similar to designer brands.
- Jeans Corporation: this shop sell basically the same clothes as The Officers Club and is also roughly the same price.
- There is now Triads on Albert Road, and Red Square on Linthorpe Road, both sell extortionatly priced clothes.
- Try Bakers on Linthorpe road for clothes that don't make you look like a twat
- Triads is extremeexpensive unless you go in regularly. The guys in there are really friendly, and as a result I have bought many things from there, and never paid full price. I have never seen a better clothes shop, and I have been to more than a few cities around the world.
