• The venues for concerts and music festivals are all huge, overwhelming structures, windowless and look like they have, or are very likely to, burn down. Many already have, and while demolishing Jumpin' Jaks the wall collapsed. When it was a bit windy half of the medical centre collapsed because it was poorly built.

• The planned development at Middlehaven. They haven't even built anything yet, but the ideas are rubbish and everyone knows it.

• Start with any building in the centre - you can't get a wrong one by mistake - and work your way outside to the outskirts... then do the same with stockton, billingham, peterlee (oh yes, peterlee, please) and maybe the north east will look a little better for it (It'll thank you for it, and that's for sure)
• The whole of grange town and hemlington. I hate it, and if u scuba dived in hemlington lake you would find three of my family cars burnt out in there. and the bottle of notes, its supposed to be artwork, but hey.

• Middlesbrough is a bit of mix of different styles, there's no one building I'd get rid of. Maybe if those in authority had been more carefull in the first place we wouldn't have a town with so much ill fitting variety.

If you like living in an area thats surrounded by CHEMICAL PLANTS that look like something out of blade runner and enjoy going out wondering if your HOUSE/CAR/TV anything of value is going to be there when you get back or if some shell suit wearing tosser has had it away, then this is the place for you. Dont listen to the crap about "oh there are some nice areas" cos I've been up here 5 years looking to go back down south to civilisation as soon as possible to get away from all the crap that goes on up here.

• Rather than a building I suggest they flatten Middlesbrough and start again. In the years that I have been forced to live in this area I have found it one of the least friendly and unhomelike spots in Britain.
